DJ Mitsu the Beats makes his third appearance in the “Sea of Love” music compilation series with a brand new track on 7-inch vinyl! This release features a cool and mellow chill track, covering Nora Jones’ iconic early work “Sunrise.” DJ Mitsu the Beats’ signature jazzy beats blend perfectly with the mellow piano of cro-magnon’s Takumi Kaneko, creating an instrumental chill number that evokes images of the ocean at dawn. Following the instant sell-out of the previous release “Summer Madness”, this perfect combination hints at the birth of a new surf anthem. The cover art is an artistic surf photo by surf photographer Atsushi Kumano.

Questo album è ampiamente considerato come una delle uscite più forti e sottovalutate di un affiliato del Wu-Tang Clan, ed è facile capire il perché una volta ascoltate le sue 18 tracce dinamiche. Killer Bee incarna lo spirito grezzo dei Wu aggiungendo il suo caratteristico sapore grintoso a Il colpo del secolo. Brilla sia quando sputa da solo in pezzi straordinari come "Shine", "Street Life" e la title track, sia quando è affiancato da pesi massimi del rap come Raekwon, Ghostface Killah, U-God, Havoc e Masta Killah e altri. Rae in realtà offre due performance ospiti straordinarie in "Az the World Turns" e "Spring Water". La formazione della produzione è altrettanto seria, e vanta crediti di artisti del calibro di RZA, DJ Muggs, Havoc, 4th Disciple e Carlos "Six July" Broady, che ha prodotto 10 brani, tra gli altri. Che tu sia stato lì il primo giorno, o che tu abbia iniziato ad immergerti nella vasta discografia dei Wu solo di recente, o da qualche parte nel mezzo, difficilmente troverai una rappresentazione del loro suono migliore di Heist of the Century.
