In un'epoca in cui flettere gli stili originali era obbligatorio per ottenere rispetto, pochi gruppi Hip Hop erano più rispettati di Organized Konfusion. Il duo con sede nel Queens di Pharoahe Monch e Prince Po ha brillato di più nel loro secondo LP del 1994 "Stress: The Extinction Agenda", che sta ricevendo una ristampa per celebrare il suo 30° anniversario. Sostenuto da una produzione oscura, bassa e jazz, "Stress" ha mostrato gli stili di rima dinamici e sempre mutenti di Pharoahe e Po e la chimica elettrica dall'inizio alla fine, creando un album che è un classico indiscusso tra i fan hardcore dell'Hip Hop.

Consisting of founding members Deacon the Villain and Kno, the duo would make a name for themselves for their East Coast-influenced boom bap with a southern charm, abound with battleready braggadocio and side-splitting humor.
Right from the intro, the pair get down to business, delivering a balanced combination of both lighthearted subjects and weighty material, produced largely by Kno, whose skillfully crafted soundscapes would catapult him into the upper echelon of beat makers with his style of ’90s New York loop-digging and chipmunk soul.

Killer Bee incarna lo spirito grezzo dei Wu aggiungendo il suo caratteristico sapore grintoso a Il colpo del secolo. Brilla sia quando sputa da solo in pezzi straordinari come "Shine", "Street Life" e la title track, sia quando è affiancato da pesi massimi del rap come Raekwon, Ghostface Killah, U-God, Havoc e Masta Killah e altri. Rae in realtà offre due performance ospiti straordinarie in "Az the World Turns" e "Spring Water". La formazione della produzione è altrettanto seria, e vanta crediti di artisti del calibro di RZA, DJ Muggs, Havoc, 4th Disciple e Carlos "Six July" Broady, che ha prodotto 10 brani, tra gli altri. Che tu sia stato lì il primo giorno, o che tu abbia iniziato ad immergerti nella vasta discografia dei Wu solo di recente, o da qualche parte nel mezzo, difficilmente troverai una rappresentazione del loro suono migliore di Heist of the Century.
